The following positions are available at Joseph, Cox and Associates:

Engineer - Civil
We need a civil engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in the Chesterfield
and/or Henrico plan process. An engineer with a PE is a definite plus. The
individual needs to be client oriented, able to manage a team,
proficient in AutoCAD, and able to hit the ground running. We have clients
and work ready to go. The individual will manage design in subdivision
design and commercial site design. These designs that include drainage,
storm sewers, grading, sewer design, erosion control, water systems, and
roads. Project management is the first step towards corporate management.

Civil Engineering Designer and/or Engineering CAD
Technician
We are looking for qualified CAD Technicians and Civil
Designers with experience in commercial site and/or subdivision design. A
degree is not required for this position but experience is required. In this
job you will be required to work with the staff engineers in designing and
drafting the site and subdivision work. Keeping up with standards and firm
practices are a very important aspect of the position.
The position requires proficiency in AutoCAD and related products. Experience in Eagle
Point or Land Desktop Development preferred.

Survey CAD Technician
We are looking for qualified Survey CAD Technicians
with experience in survey databases, house layouts, engineering and survey
plans, as well as site plan and subdivision stakeouts. Keeping up with
standards and firm practices are a very important aspect of the position.
The position requires proficiency in AutoCAD and related products.
Experience in Eagle Point or Land Desktop Development preferred.

Survey Instrument Operator
We are looking for qualified instrument operators to
join our survey teams to become a part of the highly skilled survey
department. We are looking for both eye men and rod men for our crews. Team
work and communications skills are essential to the job set for our survey
teams.
- Survey Party Chief
We are looking for
someone with 3 years or more of experience
as a party chief. This experience should be in construction staking, boundary surveys, mortgage surveys,
and house staking. Good communication and leadership skills desired.
- Accounts Receivable Coordinator
We are looking for an
individual for a full or part time position to process time sheets, generate
invoices, and create job cost reports using QuickBooks Pro. Proficiency in
QuickBooks Pro is required and we are currently using the QuickBooks Pro
2004 system.
